Groundhog Day Crown

Instructions

STEP 1:

To create the head, glue a 5 inch oval cut from medium brown cardstock to a 4 inch circle cut from dark brown cardstock.

STEP 2:

Using a ruler and black marker, draw a line down the middle of the medium brown oval.

STEP 3:

Punch dark brown cardstock with the oval punch for the ears, attach to the head.

STEP 4:

Punch black cardstock with the oval punch for the nose, tape “whiskers” cut from plastic string to the back of the nose. Use 3D Dots to attach the nose to the head.

STEP 5:

For the white of the eyes, punch two 1 1/8 inch white circles. Punch these white circles, off center, with the 1/2 inch punch. Glue blue cardstock circles punched with the 7/8 inch punch behind the white circles. Attach eyes to the head.

STEP 6:

Punch two white tags for the teeth, glue to the back of the face.

STEP 7:

Print message on light blue cardstock.

STEP 8:

Trim blue cardstock to desired size.

STEP 9:

Attach the head.

STEP 10:

Fold ovals punched from medium brown cardstock, attach to the sides, punch holes, and add ribbon for tying the crown on.
