A Spotted Canary Project by danadecarlo

9 March 2010

Step your tissue paper flowers up a notch with stamps and glitter. Simple enough for older kids to create, but elegant enough for any adult to craft too!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut a regular piece of tissue paper in half. Fold to create 8 squares; cut along fold lines with pinking shears.

STEP 2:

Stack 8 squares and crumple tightly. Unfold crumpled tissue paper.

STEP 3:

Using animal skins clear stamps and glue stamp pad, stamp edges of each piece of tissue paper and sprinkle with glitter. Stack stamped papers.

STEP 4:

Fold papers into a fan.

STEP 5:

Wrap pipe cleaner around center of fan to hold together and create stem.

STEP 6:

Pull each piece of tissue paper towards middle, alternating between sides. Fluff as necessary.
