P-U! Who farted? April Fools! Make this farting putty to fool your friends. You can make this noisy putty to give as a silly gift for April Fool's Day, or as a fun favor for your next birthday party. This recipe makes a large enough batch of putty to share with several of your 'gassiest' friends.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Pour 8 ounces of glue into a bowl. Fill the empty glue bottle with water and add slowly to the glue - stirring constantly until mixed well. Add food color, if desired.
STEP 2:
In another bowl, stir together 1 cup of water and 1 1/2 teaspoons of borax powder, mixing until the powder has dissolved.
STEP 3:
Pour the borax mixture into the glue mixture - They will become slime almost instantly. Continue working this mixture with your hands until it becomes more stiff.
STEP 4:
Place the 'farting' putty into a small upright container.
STEP 5:
Using the circle scissors, cut a large red and a smaller light blue circle to fit the lid. Layer and adhere the two circles to the lid of the container.
STEP 6:
With the vellum alphabet stickers spell out 'Farting Putty' on top of the circles. The tweezers will help to pull up an edge of the vellum alphabet and allow you to adhere the letter with ease to the lid.
STEP 7:
Embellish the plastic container and the lid of the container with the Sticko Color Bubbles stickers.
STEP 8:
To make the putty make interesting farting noises - push your fingers through the putty in the container.
STEP 9:
When not in use, store the putty in a covered container in the refrigerator.
