This bright, cheerful bouquet is a fun, simple project to create with your little one. Parents can help even the youngest of kids to craft this vibrant vase; challenge older kids and tweens to design and create the project according to their own creative tastes!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut regular piece of tissue paper in half. Fold to create 8 squares; cut along fold lines.

STEP 2:

Stack 8 squares and crumple tightly. Unfold crumpled tissue paper and stack.

STEP 3:

Fold papers into a fan.

STEP 4:

Twist pipe cleaner around center of fan to hold together and create stem.

STEP 5:

Cut two pieces of patterned paper. The first tall enough to cover height of empty jar, and a second strip to go around the middle. Adhere to jar.

STEP 6:

Pull each piece of tissue paper towards middle, alternating between sides. Fluff as necessary.

STEP 7:

Repeat with each flower.

STEP 8:

Cut two pieces of patterned paper. The first tall enough to cover height of empty jar, and a second strip to go around the middle. Adhere to jar.

STEP 9:

Insert flowers in jar for beautiful decor!
