Best Friends Card

Instructions

STEP 1:

Note: A parent or teacher may want to cut the card, the panel and the mats for the message.

STEP 2:

Cut an 8 1/2 inch x 5 1/2 inch piece of dark lavender card stock. Fold in half to make an A2 card

STEP 3:

Cut a panel out of the light lavender card stock. Attach to card.

STEP 4:

Cut a 3 1/2 inch square out of the dark lavender card stock and punch out corners. It would be helpful to mark the center of the square

STEP 5:

Use the square punch to cut out eight 1 1/4 inch squares out of scrapbook paper.

STEP 6:

Apply glue to the wrong side of each 1 1/4 inch square and fold diagonally to form a triangle.

STEP 7:

Punch the lizard on each triangle. It would be helpful to mark the center of the square and the center of the top edge before the triangles are attached. Glue the triangles on the dark lavender square in the pattern shown. The points should meet in the center.

STEP 8:

Attach a flower sticker to the center of your design.

STEP 9:

Use the paper piercer to pierce a whole for the brad. Insert brad into center of the flower.

STEP 10:

Attach dark lavender square with design to the light lavender panel.

STEP 11:

Cut a panel of light lavender card stock and a panel of dark lavender card stock.

STEP 12:

Mount “Best Friends” stamp on clear block and ink. Stamp message on light lavender panel and mat at an angle on dark lavender panel.

STEP 13:

Attach message at an angle near the bottom of the card. Apply stickers.
