A Spotted Canary Project by CMScanlon

8 July 2009

This fun and easy project made from glass stones makes a perfect teacher gift!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut patterned paper into blocks slightly larger than your baubles. When having small hands use scissors, be sure to assist them and make sure they use scissors appropriate for children.

STEP 2:

Clean baubles with a paper towel. Spread glue on the flat side of the bauble and adhere to blocks of patterned paper. Allow to dry completely.

STEP 3:

Use scissors to carefully cut away excess paper. Use a nail file to clean up any ragged edges you may have.

STEP 4:

Glue one magnet to each bauble and allow to dry completely.

STEP 5:

Cut a circle of patterned paper to fit inside the tin can cover and glue in place.

STEP 6:

When all the glue is dry, apply the magnets to the tin can cover and wrap to give as a lovely gift.
