A Spotted Canary Project by KelKeller

26 March 2010

Build these fun shape animal cards for Spring, Easter, or just for fun!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Score and fold patterned paper. Trace a plate or other round item to form the bottom of the bird, trim with decorative scissors.

STEP 2:

Score and fold a small piece patterned paper. Leave folded and cut out a football-shaped wing. Attach wing to bird.

STEP 3:

Cut a cardstock circle for the head and punch circles for the cheeks.

STEP 4:

To create the beak, fold a small piece of yellow cardstock. Leave folded as you cut a small triangle. Attach beak to the bird.

STEP 5:

Add green brads for eyes and glue feathers to the head and wing.

STEP 6:

Punch a hole and add a ribbon for hanging.
