Frame your loved one in a detailed oval keepsake locket and then show it off proudly amidst some crystal dangles and crystal-encrusted metal accents. This bracelet will quickly become the “shining star” in your jewelry box to both show off and feel good.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Thread crystal bead onto headpin.
STEP 2:
Use the chain nose pliers to bend the wire to 90 degree angle.
STEP 3:
Use the cutter to trim headpin wire to about ½” from the bend.
STEP 4:
Use the round nose pliers to grip the end of the wire and bend it towards you to form a loop.
STEP 5:
Eye pin connectors are made same as for eye pin loops, excepting that you start with an eye pin instead of a head pin. They can be made short or long depending on the amount of beads used. Just make sure to adjust the length of the eye pin to ensure you have at least ½” left at opposite end to finish.
STEP 6:
In advance, make dangles as shown in photo (or create your own design): single crystal dangles – 3 with Hyacinth, 2 with Tanzanite (one left over for connector): double color crystal dangles – make patterns using Violet Opal, Violet, Lt Sapphire, Chrysolite, Caribbean Blue Opal, Crystal: 1 eye pin connector – using remaining 6mm Tanzanite
STEP 7:
Add crystal eye pin connector and one crystal Tanzanite dangle to jump ring of locket; attach tiny metal crystallized heart to bottom eye pin loop of connector. Attach top jump ring of locket to center link of bracelet.
STEP 8:
Plan out bracelet color flow and attach each dangle onto links of silver bracelet by opening up top loop of dangle and attaching into jump rings first then attaching jump rings or jump ring clusters into bracelet links.
STEP 9:
Use care and restraint when working with metal tools and a lot of crystals. You don’t want to get rough or to put undue pressure against a crystal as it might break.
STEP 10:
To finish, use jump rings to attach silver pave stars onto bracelet as shown or as desired. Bracelet sample size shown is about 7-1/2” long
