A Spotted Canary Project by Inspiration Ali

17 January 2012

Start jewelry making with this beautiful, quick and easy necklace. Simply string coordinating crystals and to create an easy piece that packs a visual punch.

Instructions

STEP 1:

To start use a small wash cloth or a small square of fleece to lay out the design you wish to make. If you want to invest in a bead design board that is another alternative to building your design.

STEP 2:

Once you have created your design take a length of bead stringing wire that is about two inches longer than the length of your design. String on a crimping bead and loop the end back through the crimping bead pulling it to a small loop then crimp it closed.

STEP 3:

Start adding your beads to your wire from one side in the order that you have laid out. When finished add another crimping bead and complete the process in step 2.

STEP 4:

Next, using your pliers, add two small jump rings to the loops on both ends of the necklace and attach the toggle closure pieces.
