Celebrate summer any time of year with this beautiful coral necklace that will remind you of your last trip to the tropics. We've made this a triple strand necklace.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut pieces of wire, each approximately 2 inches in length.
STEP 2:
Use round nose pliers to create a simple loop at one end of each piece of wire.
STEP 3:
Cut three strands of beading wire, approximately 22, 21 and 20 inches in length. You will have extra wire at the end of the project, but better to have too much wire than too little.
STEP 4:
Secure each piece of beading wire to one of the wire loops using crimping beads. String wire through the crimping bead, then through the loop, and back through the bead. Flatten the bead with chain nose pliers.
STEP 5:
Slide bead cone onto wire piece, over the loop and secured beading wire.
STEP 6:
Slide two small seed beads onto wire piece, then string one side of closure onto wire piece. Create simple loop, with closure piece in the middle of the loop. Seed beads will not be in the loop.
STEP 7:
String beads onto three pieces of beading wire. Repeat bead pattern along each string. Finish stringing when you reach desired length. One strand should be approximately one inch longer than the other two strands. The longest strand will be on the outer side.
