A Spotted Canary Project by Kabby

4 August 2011

Create an easy, one of a kind necklace using punches, paper and adhesive! It will surely be noticed whenever it’s worn!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Punch circles from paper of choice (you will need approximately 10 to 12 circles per bead).

STEP 2:

Fold each circle in half. Working in a circular pattern, adhere back halves to back halves of the piece next to it. Make sure the center creases of the beads match up in the middle.

STEP 3:

Once you have constructed the amount of beads you want for your necklace, thread a needle with a light string and push the needle through the center of each bead. There should be a little residual adhesive on each bead, so be sure to squeeze each bead gently in place so that it stays on the string where you want it.

STEP 4:

Tie the end of the string together once all beads have been threaded on the string. Another option is you can use a jewelry clasp on the ends for closures.
