XO Hugs & Kisses Tri-Fold Card

Instructions

STEP 1:

Fold 8 ½ x 11" red cardstock in half both ways so that you have 4 rectangles. Hold your paper vertically (portrait view) and carefully trim away the top left rectangle with your paper trimmer. Fold the top right rectangle down and close the card. Trim away any side pieces that stick out.

STEP 2:

Cut a smaller piece of blue cardstock and sand the edges. Set aside.

STEP 3:

Cut a scalloped strip from white cardstock and adhere it to the left side of the blue piece.

STEP 4:

Stamp your sentiment on green cardstock and trim it into strips. Sand the edges and adhere to the bottom left side of the blue piece.

STEP 5:

Create the “X” from two skinny strips of red cardstock. To create the “O” punch a 1.25 inch circle from red cardstock. Then use the 1.5 inch circle punch over the hole. Use your punches upside down so that you can align the larger circle correctly over the smaller circle. Adhere “XO” letters to blue piece.

STEP 6:

Adhere blue piece to card front with adhesive foam circles.

STEP 7:

Open the card and trim off the end of the flap.

STEP 8:

Cut a scalloped strip from blue cardstock and sand the edges. Cut a skinny strip from green cardstock and adhere to top of blue strip. Punch a heart from red cardstock and sand its edges. Adhere to bottom of blue strip. Adhere embellished blue strip to bottom of flap.

STEP 9:

Stamp “XOXOXO” onto flap and your hugs and kisses card is complete!
