Haunted Recycled Mansion

Instructions

STEP 1:

Collected cardboard boxes. This project used 9 boxes and a scrap piece of cardboard to cut roof tops and window décor.

STEP 2:

Arrange boxes to create a building. Adhere the boxes together.

STEP 3:

Spray paint the boxes black.

STEP 4:

Cover boxes with pattern paper.

STEP 5:

Add glitter to some of the features on the boxes.

STEP 6:

Embellish home with Halloween Die-Cuts and stickers

STEP 7:

Place black trim on home to create borders.

STEP 8:

Add battery operated candles in the rooms of the house. Make sure the candles don’t get too hot and cause a fire.

STEP 9:

Finished project measures approximately 20 x 32.

Related Resources

Create a miniature version, by asking each family member or party guest to make a haunted home or building. Display these on a table for a cherished seasonal decoration.
