With just a few household items, you can create a money-saving coupon holder that fits in your purse.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut chipboard to fit inside of 2 of the 9 envelopes. Seal the envelopes closed and cover them with pattern paper

STEP 2:

Cut 8 paper binders that are the length of the envelopes and 1 inch wide.

STEP 3:

Fold each of the binders in half, length-wise. You will glue half of the folded paper binder to the cover of the book and half of it to the first envelope. Repeat this step until all the envelopes are attached together.

STEP 4:

Make sure the openings on the envelopes are on the right margin. This will save you time when clipping coupons and filing the.

STEP 5:

Decorate the coupon holder with trim and buttons. Add a metal book plate with the word “coupons” in it. Place brads in the holes on the book plate and adhere to the outside of the coupon holder

STEP 6:

Label each envelope with how you will organize your coupons

STEP 7:

Start with the phrase…”Today’s Shopping Coupons”. It is handy to keep these in the front envelope so you are organized for your shopping trip
