Punch needle designs are so quick and fun to stitch. Here’s a simple idea for turning a small punch needle design into a colorful embellishment for a toddler’s jumper – with the addition of some colorful decorative ribbon to accent the design colors!
Instructions
STEP 1:
Complete punch needle design following directions on package.
STEP 2:
Cut two 4 1/2 inch pieces of bright pink, bright yellow, and bright blue grosgrain ribbon.
STEP 3:
Fold each ribbon piece to make ends meet. Tack each loop to back side of punched design as shown.
STEP 4:
Attach to denim jumper by using a pin back or by hand sewing around design edge with needle and thread.
