Get those extra curricular activities organized with a to-go bag that is stylish and functional.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut out all the felt pieces using the pattern sheet

STEP 2:

Stitch the biggest pieces first to the bag. Make sure not to stitch the bag shut

STEP 3:

Use a running stitch to attach the pieces. It has a whimsical look. Each stitch doesn’t have to be exact

STEP 4:

Embellish the leaves with the green, floral buttons

STEP 5:

Cut out the word “FLY” from the felt and use No-Sew glue to attach it to the bag or stitch by hand

STEP 6:

Embellish the bird with polka dots made from felt circles. Place the wing on with and “X” stitch. Add the bead for the eye and stitch on the beak or glue it into place

STEP 7:

Tie ribbons to the bag and stuff it with your supplies. Make one for each activity your child is in or you are involved with. Getting ready to go has never seemed so easy

Related Resources

Make this bag personal by stitching your name on it, cut from felt or an icon of the activity you are involved in. I don’t recommend washing this bag
