There are few places on earth as magical as a Disney theme park. It is after all “the happiest place on earth”. Whether you have been to one of the parks or not your kids can begin making magic in your their own bedrooms by using some of the Disney themed stickers and embellishments on the market with these fun Disney decorating ideas.
As the mother of two little boys and a girl on the way I have lots of opportunity for creating fun spaces for the kids. They have a playroom with their dress-up clothes in it that is in the process of becoming a Cars themed room. I found a fun unfinished plaque with hooks on it that will be perfect for hanging up their “racing” uniforms at the end of the day. And with a little girl's room in the works I decided to create some personalized decor, starting with a Tinkerbell lampshade. Not only will these be fun additions for the rooms in my home, but they would also make great gifts too.
Other ideas for room decor might be a message board, dress up mirror, or a door sign. Try painting wooden letters that spell the child's name and let them add stickers of their favorite characters. Disney decorating ideas for the bathroom include a decorated stepstool or toothbrush holder.
With just a few supplies and a dash of creativity, your kids will have fun personalizing their rooms with these fun Disney decorating ideas. Be sure to post your creative character creations in the Kids Crafts gallery!
