When working on a project that requires a variety of crystal dangles, it is best to make all of the dangles first for consistency. Once all dangles are made, lay out the design to be sure you are happy with the effect before proceeding with the assembly. You will be glad that you worked your project in this fashion!
Instructions
STEP 1:
Thread crystal bead onto headpin.
STEP 2:
Use the chain nose pliers to bend the wire to 90 degree angle (photo).
STEP 3:
Use the cutter to trim headpin wire to about ½” from the bend (photo).
STEP 4:
Use the round nose pliers to grip the end of the wire and bend it towards you to form a loop (photo).
STEP 5:
Make four double crystal dangles and eight single crystal dangles as shown in photo or create your own styles:
STEP 6:
Double crystal dangles are made of one piece each stacked: Olivine polygon bead/6mm Lt Rose bicone, 6mm Rose Water Opal bicone with a 4mm Fuchsia bicone, 6mm Lt Rose bicone with a 4mm Fuchsia bicone, 4mm Rose Water Opal bicone and 4mm Indicolite bicone
STEP 7:
Single crystal dangles are made of one piece each: 4mm Fuchsia, 3 pieces, 4mm Indicolite, 3 pieces and 4mm Olivine, 2 pieces
STEP 8:
Attach crystal dangles to the loops of the Dangle Pendant Branch as shown or as desired.
STEP 9:
To finish, use the jump ring to connect the Dangle Pendant Branch to the faux leather neck cord. Necklace sample length shown a collar length of 18” long
