A Spotted Canary Project by InkaCatherine

27 March 2009

This adorable card will warm any friend’s heart! By following the instructions in the related article for a matching envelope, you will be able to create an envelope for any size card. You may even want to try carefully taking apart a regular envelope to create an template.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Using green ink, stamp verse on a small white panel and 3 coffee cups on white cardstock. Trim close to the image.

STEP 2:

Ink the edges of the verse panel with aqua. Heat set.

STEP 3:

Adhere striped panel to a 5.5” square top-folding card.

STEP 4:

Layer a dotted panel on top of the stripped panel, then an aqua circles panel for the top layer.

STEP 5:

Attach a gingham ribbon to the dotted panel and adhere the verse panel.

STEP 6:

Adhere the 3 coffee mugs as shown using adhesive foam circles.

STEP 7:

After creating the envelope, be sure to stamp on it as well. If you select a coordinating double sided paper to create your envelope, it will look as if your envelope is lined.
