A Spotted Canary Project by CMScanlon

6 December 2011

Christmas crafts for kids can be fun and easy for all ages.  Smaller children can make this simple holiday card with a little help from parents, and older kids can make it on their own – the tools and supplies are basic and easy to use.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Punch large snowflake from white cardstock, brush with a thick coat of glitter glue and sprinkle Pewter Glitter over to cover completely.

STEP 2:

Stamp “happy holidays” on white cardstock and punch with the 1 1/4” Circle Punch. Ink edge of circle with red ink.

STEP 3:

Trim the patterned paper to fit on the white card base and wrap white ribbon around to make it look like a wrapped package. Refer to the example for placement.

STEP 4:

Adhere the patterned paper panel to the card base.

STEP 5:

Punch several snowflakes from the Snowflake & Fir Tree small punch from white cardstock. Adhere to the card with adhesive. Add a tiny rhinestone to the center of each snowflake.

STEP 6:

Glue the dried pewter snowflake to the center of the card.

STEP 7:

Add the "happy holidays" circle sentiment with 3D Dots.
