Campfire Songs Mini Book

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cover one side of the wall calendar bases with brown cardstock. Punch two binding holes only. Keep the other two holes covered. Cover the other side of the bases with dark blue cardstock. Punch two binding holes. Ink edges. These are the songbook covers.

STEP 2:

Cut same size squares of blue, green dot and yellow circle dots patterned papers. Ink edges with brown and set aside.

STEP 3:

Cut red cardstock square the same size as the above patterned paper pieces. Stamp retro blocks with red ink. Ink edges with brown. Glue all squares to front cover as shown in picture.

STEP 4:

Cut large star from chipboard. Glue yellow circle dots paper to front of star and trim. Ink all edges with brown and adhere to songbook cover with adhesive foam strips.

STEP 5:

Stamp “SONGS” on green cardstock. Cut out using scissors and a craft knife. Ink all edges with brown and adhere to songbook cover using foam adhesive. Add fabric tie.

STEP 6:

Stick “CAMPFIRE” phrase sticker to ivory cardstock. Trim and ink edges. Stitch a red floss border, using a piercing rotary tool and a mouse pad to create a stitch guide. Glue to the chipboard star and embellish with a campfire sticker.

STEP 7:

Knot a length of cording and glue to book.

STEP 8:

Cut inside pages from dark blue, yellow, red and olive green cardstock. Ink edges and punch two binding holes in each page.

STEP 9:

Print song lyrics on ivory cardstock. Trim to fit on inside pages. Ink edges and glue to pages.

STEP 10:

Make sticker mats for each page using brown cardstock squares, patterned paper squares and punched folk hearts. Ink all edges. Adhere sticker mats to pages in upper left hand corners. Add stickers on top of stars. See picture for example.

STEP 11:

Assemble songbook using rings for binding.

STEP 12:

Tie fabric strips and cording to binding rings and embellish with a lantern sticker.
