Book of Spells

Instructions

STEP 1:

Measure a one inch border around the pages inside the book

STEP 2:

Using a retractable knife, trim the pages out, a few at a time. This will take awhile. Change your knife’s blade often

STEP 3:

Use tacky glue to adhere the book pages together. Smear the glue on your finger and coat the inside pages and the outside of the book

STEP 4:

Allow the book to dry. Place something heavy on the book while it is drying

STEP 5:

Cut the graveyard pattern paper and place onto the cover of the book

STEP 6:

Cut the black polka dot pattern paper into a frame. Secure to the cover of the book with foam tape

STEP 7:

Add bat Grand Adhesion stickers to the spooky tree. Place a frog die-cut in the lower, left corner of the book’s cover

STEP 8:

Add the words”Book of Spells”. Use die-cut eyes for the “O” in “books

STEP 9:

Cover the inside cover of the book with pattern paper

STEP 10:

Cover the first page in the book so that the hole in the book peeks through

STEP 11:

Add embossed word stickers to embellish the spine of the book, the cover of the book, and the inside of the book

STEP 12:

Fill with treats

Create the letter you need from the chipboard alphabet stickers. Trim a letter that looks similar to the one you are trying to create. For example, I needed 2 “L’s” for the word “Spells” and I only had one on the sticker sheet. The “K” looked similar to the “L” I was missing, so I trimmed off the letter “K” to change it into the “L
