This vintage-inspired design features cute “Bee My Valentine” saying and bee motif. Children will enjoy making and giving this wonderful duet.
Instructions
STEP 1:
With adult help, cut golden yellow colored paper to a 5”x10” size (card base).
STEP 2:
With adult help, cut pink heart paper to a 4”x10” size (accent paper).
STEP 3:
Fold both pieces of paper in half at the 5” mark.
STEP 4:
Slip pink heart paper on the outside of the golden yellow paper and center, leaving 1/2" on the top and bottom of card.
STEP 5:
Use adhesive dispenser along backside of the pink heart paper and adhere it to the bottom layer.
STEP 6:
Repeat on back side.
STEP 7:
Punch 1 heart from the golden yellow paper using heart punch.
STEP 8:
Peel and Stick the “Bee mine” sticker to center of yellow paper heart.
STEP 9:
Use 3 large 3-d dots on the back side of the heart and center it on the front of the card.
STEP 10:
Use 4 small 3-dots on the back side of 4 pink heart stickers from the “Retro Valentine” sticker sheet. (See sample card for placement).
STEP 11:
Write a special valentine message inside card using markers.
