Finger puppets are fun to easy to make! With a few scraps of paper, scissors, adhesive and a few paper punches (optional), you can create puppets to go with any theme and of any shape or size! The puppet included here is made by making a finger band that attaches to the back of the puppet and then slips over any finger on your child’s hand.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Trace around bee body on yellow patterned paper. Cut out and set aside.

STEP 2:

Punch out black circle with 5/8 inch circle punch

STEP 3:

Punch out 2 small 1/2 inch circles from black and cut two thin strips of black for antennae.

STEP 4:

Trace two wing shapes on white cardstock and cut out.

STEP 5:

Use black marker to draw 2 wide strips across bottom portion of bee’s body.

STEP 6:

Adhere black circle to top of body to form head.

STEP 7:

Adhere antennae to back of head and add small circles to the top of each one.

STEP 8:

Add wings to each side of bee’s body.

STEP 9:

Cut finger band out of desired paper and form into a ring to fit your child’s finger. Attach to back of bee.
